BOO NA-NA (74-19) DOLES OUT THE WEEK SIX SNF SWISS-CHEESED VIBE GROOVES

Posted by Section Nine Football on Oct 12 2023 at 10:31AM PDT

Boo San had a good 16-3 week, excepting for a surprise here and thar. We’ll see if he can get the average over 80 percent yet.

MIDDLETOWN – How dare we doubt the power of the Middie Bear going into NFA. Middletown entertains Warwick in a non-leaguer at Faller and we expect MHS to post another victory.

NEW PALTZ – The Huguenots aim to gather a B-1 win over visiting Liberty. Both squads have had a hard time of it this season.

MARLBORO – This game with visiting Wallkill could be very close and we see no clear winner here. The Dukes kept the trophy in their big game versus Highland but hope they have their full lineup available for this matchup.

ROOSEVELT – The Hyde Park Presidents have played well despite losing to red-hot Saugerties in the rain last Saturday. Meanwhile, Spackenkill gets another chance at home to right the ship.

O’NEILL – This first encounter with Chester works for the division crown and top Class C championship game seeding. Both units have picked up the pace lately so we may witness a very good skirmish here.

NEWBURGH – The Goldbacks search again for the win column after the setback against Middletown. Our Lady of Lourdes always provides a difficult task.

PINE BUSH – The Bushmen gave M-W a good tussle despite falling a bit short in week five. Valley Central took care of Kingston and now hope to perform another mild upset in front of the Montgomery faithful.

MINISINK – A Warriors win over the Wizards could all but wrap up the A-1 title, except that some things are easier said than done with the way 6-0 Washingtonville has performed. Start tailgating early in the parking lots!!

PORT JERVIS – In a game for the B-1 league championship, the Raiders host Saugerties in what promises to bring thrills and chills. The Sawyers have won five straight but PJ has a long and storied history in big games at Glennette Field.

SULLIVAN WEST – The Division One champs complete their league schedule with a Lake Huntington affair with Eldred. SW can find some playoff preparation the next two weeks.

PINE PLAINS/RHINEBECK – The Bombers/Hawks look to get over a big loss to Pawling as they host Onteora, a team that played well in a 28-24 defeat to Ticonderoga.

RED HOOK – We’ll take the Raiders at home over Highland in this B-2 game on Saturday afternoon. The Huskies have made strides but they may not quite score enough on the road in this ballgame.

BURKE – The Eagles have a long streak of their own going and look to keep pounding in a game with struggling Dover at home this week.

MONROE-WOODBURY – The Crusaders take the trip up to Rondout to play a league contest with host Kingston. M-W leads the AA division and we expect them to hold serve this week.

GOSHEN – The Gladiators would like to finally pick up a second win on the season and they get the opportunity at Monticello. The Panthers will still scratch and claw.

RONDOUT – The Ganders have started rolling and travel to Ellenville for what may be a very good game this week. Ellenville has also had its ups and downs this season.

PAWLING – The Tigers have clinched their division already and finish the last two weeks of the regular season with non-league games, including this visit to Tri-Valley on Saturday. Pawling gets the nod in this contest.
