No Dawg Days of Summer for the Mud Dawgs!!!

OK... technically it's still spring, but it's the end of the season and I'm running out of material!!!

Congratulations on a key win Thursday night. You guys gave your fans and several visiting coaches another great show last night.  There are a few reasons you've ended up on top but one stands out above the rest...  you never give up!  You've been down by 5, 8, even 12 runs many times this season and fought back to win time after time after time.  When you believe in yourselves, good things happen. 

Good luck in the playoffs.  Have fun!!

Tonight's Game is ON.... and we've been upgraded to Major Field!

The field was a mess early on, but thanks to the coaches, Dan Munson and a few Guest and Woo players, you've got a beautiful field to play on and a nice dry dugout. Have fun guys! Parents, expect a call tonight or tomorrow about the playoffs. All the managers are meeting tonight after our game to hear all the details. Sounds like we'll definitely play Saturday. Winners play again on Tuesday or Weds and the final game is probably Friday. Go Dawgs Go!

CONGRATULATIONS BOYS! 
Your win this morning guaranteed at least a tie for first place but then McKinley asked Coach Kevin to conjure up another rainbow cloud this afternoon and they beat Guest and Woo 3-1 in one of the best games of the year.  A really pitchers duel!!!   WOOOOOOO - HOOOOOOOO!!! 

Maselli's has clinched first place despite the outcome of Thursday night's game against Guest and Woo, but we want to go into the playoffs winning so bring your best game on Thursday!

PLAYOFFS AND ALL-STAR INFO/SCHEDULES STILL T.B.A, BUT HOLD THESE DATES...

We still haven't heard anything remotely concrete about the AAA playoff tournament or All-Star selection/game dates. 

Despite the schedule showing the AAA Tournament as a single elimination tourney on Saturday, June 11, it is likely to be a multi-round, multi-day tournament throughout most of the following week.  As soon as we have more info, we'll get it to you, but for now, plan on playing 3 games between Saturday June 11 and Saturday, June 18 as the Mud Dawgs are tough and plan to win it!

A.J.'s brother is graduating from high school in Oregon on the 11th so AJ will not be with us the entire week :(    This also means we will only have one extra player for the tournament so let us know ASAP if you're also going to be out of town.

The All Star game will likely be the weekend of June 18 or 25th.  Haven't heard a word on this... we're just guessing. 

Once we pin down these dates, we'll also plan an end-of-the-year celebration!

You guys played a great game last night! It was fun to watch so many of you smack the ball hard and field so well. Good show. Enjoy the rest of the season. If you play like you did last night, you'll finish strong.
