Once again rising to the occasion, the Blizzards stormed the Post Road SC, and won the Massachusetts State Futsal Cup, and makes plans to travel to Monroeville, PA for the Region 1 championships.

The Blizzards were victorious in all of the preliminary round matches to earn a spot in the Championship game, Sunday December 29, 2002. With a win, the Bridgewater Blizzards will be crowned Massachusetts State FUTSAL Champions, and earn an invitation to compete for the Regional Championships in Monroeville, PA. The game will be played at the Forekicks Sports Complex at 2:30 PM. The opponent will be Post Road SC, a MAPLE club team from the Uxbridge area.

The State Futsal Cup schedule has been announced. The tournament will be held at the Forekicks facility. Elimination rounds will be on December 27th, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM with the Championship game be played on the 29th at 2:20 PM. The roster is limited to only 12 players and is now posted.
