Dear Soccer Family:

As a kid, I loved the TV show Batman.  I watched it every day....same Bat Time & same Bat Channel.  It was great ! My favorite villain was "The Riddler" and during each caper with the Riddler, a note or message would say, "Riddle me this Batman".....so why all the Batman talk?   Well, this update headline is a riddle of sorts......what does the headline mean?

Now, back to today......optional weightlifting is still going very well.  We will complete our 9th week on Thursday. I believe we are getting stronger, gaining flexibility and training our muscles to prevent injury.  I appreciate the attitude of all the players attending.  If you have any suggestions to help make it better, please tell me or Coach Kevin.
 
Secondly, most of the spring soccer teams are up and running and I know they keep you very busy.  All I ask is that you integrate your improvement plan into your day.  You must regularly perform the ball routine we talked about at our meeting.  Every player on our team MUST improve their ball skills.  One of the best ways for that to happen is to utilize the ball routine. 

Third, we added a tab that deals with playing college soccer.  Please read over the information in the tab and the links.  It has some great guidelines to aid in preparing for the next level if you desire to continue playing this great game.

Lastly, I once again want to thank everyone who helped this winter with our UD concession stand fund-raisers.  I believe that 24 of 26 families helped on at least one occasion and many helped several times.  The good news is that we should receive a little better than $3,200 from our HARD WORK (our goal was $1,500).  This is an outstanding effort with great participation from all three classes.
