Welcome to the homepage of the Shanghai Shooters Amateur Football Club, China’s leading amateur expat football (soccer) team. We are the current SIFL Premier League Champions, and the "Asian Power House" of expat football (as quoted in the May 18th 2006 edition of Hong Kong BC Magazine)

The Shanghai Shooters AFC are the most successful football team in the Shanghai International Football League(SIFL) history with 11 SIFL Premier League titles, 12 SIFL Cups, 6 Hebiguichi League Cup, 10 SIFL Opening/Closing tournament titles and 8 International Tournaments. We are also the only team to win the SIFL Treble in one season, a feat we have acheved 3 times.
Our success lies in our ability to attract an eclectic mix of Shanghai’s top footballers around a team culture of football and fun on and off the field. Historically most players came from the UK but nowadays, like the Premier League, we have expanded with the times to maintain our roots but form a truly global team in which we have on our books the best footballers in Shanghai from the UK, Denmark, Chile, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, USA, New Zealand, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, Holland, Japan, Belgium, Ireland, France, Korea, the Basque, and even an ex China national team player.
This diversity of our player pool has also translated to success on the international football tournament front, where our regular team tours have seen us win in Manila, Bangkok, Phuket and Shanghai.

Other highlights have been in 2000, when we played against the Mongolian National Team in Ulan Bator as part of their World Cup warm up in front of 4,500 spectators.

In 2005, 2006 and 2008 we were invited to the Phillips Lighting Hong Kong 7s. At this tournament we have achieved amazing results, such as, 1-1 draw with Aston Villa and a 0-0 draw with PSV Eindhoven. We also played against Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers at this tournament and lost in two tight matches.
