The NBSBL banged out 18 hits and Jay Magee pitched three innings of one-hit ball as the New Brunswick squad went on to take the game 12-7. Chatham Ironmen outfielder, Dino Gallant was the New Brunswick All-Star MVP going three for six with a single, double and homerun to go along with three RBI. Catcher Mike Ivey of the Moncton Mets also homered for the victors. Jamie Vallis, who garnered the MVP accolades for the Nova Scotia team, had a single, homerun and two RBI. Jay Turple and Billy MacKenzie also hit homeruns while Darren Doucette added a pair of singles.
