Milford High School Cross Country

MHSCC varsity ladies Amy Mallamo, Brigid O'Neill and Megan Pastor kicked some butt at the corn maze Thursday afternoon, scorching the 5-acre trail in just over four minutes. The trio scooped up 20 numbers (about 5 per minute) en route to shattering the coaches' record of 13 numbers in about 14 minutes last year. Chris Morton's group came in second (I think) while the coaches couldn't even come close, staying lost in the corn for most of the afternoon. We got our numbers before dark, though. Congrats to Keith Short, Joey Palumbo and Brandon Miller who started the day, winning the warm-up sprint from start to finish.
