Milford High School Cross Country

Fourteen runners scored career-best times, including six who made the Top 15, as the Bucs cruised to an exciting performance Wednesday at the Tidewater Classic in Salisbury. Chad Carpenter took an overall win, while Keith Short, Stuart Barr, Scott Hall and Justin Bloom joined him in the Top 20 to help the boys to the team championship with 54 points. Twenty-four teams and 185 runners competed. For the girls, Amy Mallamo and Lindsay Kenton scored Top 15 trophies to help the girls to a 4th-place finish out of 22 teams and 133 runners.
