Milford High School Cross Country

Congrats go out to CR coach/Smyrna alum Matt Lindell who won the Freedom 5K Saturday, July 7, breaking 18 minutes. Uncle Vern led the Saucers placing 6th overall and first in the masters age group with an 18:55, while Dan, Dan the Running Man placed 9th and 1st in his age group. Ol' Bloom shaved some good time (more than a 1.5 minutes in a week) and moved up some places, but got stuck in the toughest age group of the day. Oh Well! Special Sauce Insider saw CR's Jill Hajec win the top female honor with a 20:30 and Dover's Katie Walsh and CR freshmen Elizabeth Paul finished around 23. CR's boys came out in force with Kyle Luke, Jed Mountz, Brandon Kovitz and others, including asst. coach Jeremy Dobrinski.
