Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears Basketball

Junior guard Kylee Edwards was selected by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) as an Underclassman All-State Honorable Mention performer. Edwards helped lead the Golden Bears to an 11-11 regular season and averaged 17.2 points per contest. She also averaged a team leading 7.1 rebounds, 2.2 assist, and 2.3 steals. Edwards eclipsed the 1,000 point total this season to become the sixth player in school history to score over 1,000 points. She currently ranks third all-time with 1,134 total points. Program leader Gretchen Haehl scored 1,418 points in her career. Edwards has a verbal commitment to Mississippi State University to play softball following her graduation at Shelbyville High School.
