Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears Basketball

Shelbyville centers combine for 26 points in the road win. Freshman Haley Wise came off the bench to score 14 points with 7 rebounds. Sophmore starter Katie Douglas played a solid game with 12 points. North lead at the first break 17-14; but Shelbyville Freshman Haley Wise and twins Gretchen and Gwen Haehl combined for twenty second quarter points to give the Bears the half-time lead at 40-28. It was a total team effort for the Bears with great half court man-to-man defense, good ballhandling against the trapping Columbus defense, and precise interior passing to gain a 13 point victory 68-55.
