Greg originally got the itch for coaching fast pitch softball watching his soon to be sister-in-law, at a young age in southern California.
He finally had the opportunity to coach the game he loves when he had a daughter of his own. Once Greg's daughter moved on from softball to college, he then met up with Darvin Goodrum to continue his fast pitch coaching legacy.
Greg has had experience coaching throughout Sonoma County at all different levels of fast pitch. Greg's upbeat energy and competitive drives is what makes his players excel across the diamond. Greg has been a lifelong fan of everything across the realm of sports. He has studied immensely the likes of storied coaching icons such as Tom Landry, Ned Yost and John Calipari. Greg tries to use the same strategies he see's on the field from these coaches and apply them to the softball diamond.
Greg is also the captain and head chef of the legendary competition Bar-B-Que team, Aces and 8's BBQ, where he has to manage many different high level obstacles on cook day. A mixture of BBQ and Softball fuels Greg's fire to challenge himself at a competitive level in everything he does.
Greg is now the owner of his own business, Corday Lighting in Santa Rosa where he gets to spend his days doing what he loves most, working with his children Tyler and Amanda.
