2006 Jets Edged In The Championship Game

Posted by Dave Rea at Nov 9, 2006 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )
The JV Squad became competative again after going 0-9 in 2004 and finishing just above .500 in 2005 by completing the regular season with a 9-0 mark. This was the 3rd time a BYFA squad had gone undefeated in regular season play. They out scored their opponents 186 to 25 and posted 4 shutouts. However it wasn't meant to be as they were edged out in a real heartbreaker at Judy Hirsch Field in Brunswick against the Brunswick Jets JV by a score of 7-6. image
