The Mavericks (6-1)waited until the 7th inning to break out and beat San Pasqual(2-4) nine to two. Will Stoffel pitched two & 1/3rd innings, entering the game in the bottom of the 5th with the bases loaded, to strike out one, and then struck out 4 of the next 6 batters. In the top of the 7th Burke walked, Chapelone was hit by a pitch, and after the runners moved up one base on a wild pitch, Stoffel hit a sacrafice fly to score Burke with the go ahead run. Oseguera was intentionally walked, Alvarez singled, Diehl walked in a run, Fuller hit a sac fly, Nacario doubled in a run, and Sterk singled to left to score two and raced around to score himself when the ball went through the left fielder.
