Nats Split in Pre Season Tourney

Posted by Steve Elliott at May 9, 2021 4:05AM PDT ( 0 Comments )

The Nats won a close game and lost a close game this past weekend in the Sheboygan Pool of the Pre Season Play Ball Tournament

In game one, the Nats scored in the seventh to take a 3-2 victory over the Kewaskum A’s. Pinch hitter Max Montgomery’s double scored Logan Rademan with the wining tally.

Game two was tight until the 5th inning when the Sheboygan A’s posted 6 runs. A seventh inning 5 run rally by the Nationals wasn’t enough as the club fell 7-6.

The Nationals open the Wisconsin State League regular season on Thursday in Kenosha against the Kings. Then, on Sunday, they travel to Addison for a DH vs the Braves.

Congrats on a successful 2020 campaign
