Nationals Join New League

For the first time in the team's 28 year history, the Nationals will not be playing in the Milwaukee County Minor League. Because of County budget constraints, administration of several sports leagues was dropped. Faced with the choice of entering the established Land O' Lakes league or creating a new league, players and board members decided that a new Milwaukee County league was the best option. 2003 will be the inaugural season for the Men's Amateur Wood Bat Baseball League in Milwaukee County. The league will be comprised of two divisions and the top teams from the now defunct County leagues will compete. The schedule is in the process of being created, but will include 20 regular season games followed by two rounds of best-of-three playoff series. Stay tuned to this site for updates as they occur.
