Cibulka's 4 RBI game helps Nationals complete sweep of Oshkosh Giants

Adam Cibulka drove in four on three hits to lead West Allis Nationals past Oshkosh Giants 13-3 in game 2. Cibulka drove in runs on a double in the third and a double in the fourth. The West Allis Nationals secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the third inning. The Nationals's big inning was driven by a walk , a fielder's choice by Brian Huntzinger, a walk by Drew Evanson, a walk , a double by Adam Cibulka, and a walk by Chase Scharnek. The Oshkosh Giants captured the lead in the first inning. Oshkosh Giants scored one run when Mitch Peterson doubled with two outs in the first inning. After the Oshkosh Giants scored one run in the top of the fifth, the Nationals answered with one of their own. Oshkosh scored when Peterson singled off of Johnny Keane, driving in one run. The Nationals then answered when Evan Spry tripled off of Luke Gajewski, driving in one run. West Allis took the lead for good with eight runs in the third inning. In the third Austin Halverson uncorked a wild pitch, scoring one run, Halverson induced Huntzinger to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Halverson walked Evanson to drive in a run, Halverson uncorked a wild pitch, scoring two runs, Cibulka doubled off of Halverson, driving in two runs, and Halverson walked Scharnek to drive in a run. Keane earned the win for West Allis Nationals. He went five innings, giving up three runs, seven hits, striking out three, and walking one. Halverson took the loss for Oshkosh Giants. He pitched three innings, allowing eight runs, and three hits. Oshkosh Giants collected eight hits. Cole Wimmer, Adam Briceland, and Peterson each collected multiple hits for Oshkosh Giants. Wimmer went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Oshkosh Giants in hits. In game one, an early lead helped the Nationals defeat Oshkosh Giants 8-2. The Nationals scored on a double by Johnny Keane, a walk by Aaron Goecks, and a single by Matt Richer in the second inning. The Nationals took an early lead in the second inning. Johnny Keane drove in one when he doubled in the second inning. Curt Pryal earned the win for the Nationals. He pitched seven innings, giving up two runs, four hits, striking out three, and walking one. Dillavon took the loss for Oshkosh Giants. He threw six innings, giving up eight runs, 11 hits, striking out four, and walking one. The Nationals had 11 hits in the game. Matt Richer and Chase Scharnek each collected multiple hits. Adam Karas and Richer each drove in two runs to lead the way. The Nationals didn't commit a single error in the field. Garrett Gilbert had the most chances in the field with five. Hawley led Oshkosh Giants with three hits in three at bats.
