B.Y.O.S. – Bring your own shovel (& beverages as you wish)! Our club cabin needs some serious attention due to mother nature’s gift of 320+ cm of snow.

This Sunday, March 11th, 9am your help is needed. The more hands, the faster we can deal with this massive amount of snow.

If you can spare an hour or more we would appreciate your assistance. No need to respond, please just show up Sunday ready to shovel. Everyone welcome, all able shovelers, all age group families from u6-16.

Thank you in advance! See you there!

Our Pub Night at the Blarney this past Saturday

This event was very successful with 85 adults and 23 kids in attendance. We were thrilled to have many Alumni families in attendance including the Deans family and the Serwa family (Kelsey & Ian, from the Canadian Ski Cross Team) – As Trevor Hanna stated, “We had Royalty in the house”!

We made close to $3500 net which is fantastic considering it did not take away from volunteer manpower on this busy ski cross race weekend.

We also received a $2000 donation from the Legion, presented at the Pub Night by Todd Cashin.

We want to take this opportunity to thank Big White for their support, donations, attendance and flexibility of us hosting it at The Blarney Stone. Also a big thank you to Fresh Air, The Blarney Stone, Prestige Inn, Barefoot Venus, Mountain yoga
Doc Willoughby’s, Bullwheel, Big White Grocery
for their generous donations to our Wheel of Fortune and the various Silent Auction items!

Obviously Jude and the Blarney’s contribution is huge therefore we ask that you thank her personally next time you see her.

It takes a village to fund a ski race program, thank you for being part of our village & our ski family!

We just wrapped up a successful Ski Cross race this past weekend and it only happens because of the people who volunteer.

This is our last race of the season to host and we are all required to volunteer, no matter the age of our racer, we must have all hands on deck! The only way we can put together a successful and safe race is with entire club participation!

Whether you want a position on or off the mountain, there is something for everyone. Please click the link to sign up to volunteer. http://signup.com/go/QJOvDiQ

Any time you can give is appreciated.

If you want want to volunteer but the timeframe doesn’t work, please contact Charlene McMillan and we will make it work for you.

Charlene McMillan
