Spartacus (Anthony Mann/Stanley Kubrick, 1960)
Anthony Mann is the uncredited director of the film. 
Having been apart of every aspect of the pre-production
process and directed the first two weeks worth of
work for all the scenes in the Salt Mine, which
were filmed in Death Valley, California. After
returning, producer Kirk Douglas fired Mann
from the film OR Anthony Mann resigned from the
film. Nobody is certain which story is correct. By
the next Monday, Stanley Kubrick was in L.A.
filming as the new director.
