2015 Season Dates ( subject to Change)

 

Winter Clinics- Mosquito, Pee Wee  first weekend in January up until their evaluation time.

Registration starts in  Early February

 Barry Cornwall- Mosquito-Tournament: May 2-3, 2015
Victoria Day Weekend Showdown - Pee Wee AA – May 14-17, 2015
The President's Cup - Pee Wee A Tournament May 21-24th 2015

Umpire Clinic 2014

VMBA 2014 Umpire Clinic 
Sunday Feb.16 8:30am-5pm
 Locations - 8:30am-12:30pm Boys and Girls Club (7595 Victoria Drive)
            1:00pm-5:00pm Vic.Drive Community Hall (2026 E. 43rd)
We will need rides for those without a ride to Victoria Drive Community Hall
for Afternoon classes (just a  5 minute Drive).
There will be a half hour (12:30pm-1:00pm) in between for transport and lunch break.
(Participants should bring their own lunches, as there will not be time otherwise).

Afternoon class start time 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm 
Second location Victoria Drive Community Hall 2026 East 43rd, 
Pick up will be at Victoria Drive Community Hall 2026 East 43rd at 5:00 pm

Clinic Cost-- Under 13 Years Level 1 $25.00, For Level 2 $50.00/ Over 13 Years $50.00 for Level 1 and 2.
Umpire Kit Cost-- $40.00 Shirt, hat, brush and belt carrier included. On sale at the clinic.
Important note: VMBA will not supply umpire SHIRTS  this year.

Uniform Pick-up and Deposit

UNIFORM POLICY FOR VANCOUVER MINOR BASEBALL-New 2014To eliminate the high cost of replacing uniforms every year, we are implementing a new "Uniform Policy". This policy is used by most sports associations and will hopefully reduce the frustrations we incur when trying to get uniforms returned.A parent / guardian of the player will be responsible to come to Nanaimo Park on the date listed below to pick up his/her uniform. At that time, you will fill out a form giving us a bit of information about yourself and the player. You will then give us the completed form and a cheque for $100.00 (postdated) for July 1, 2014 (made payable to Vancouver Minor Baseball). Your cheque will be returned (or destroyed) once your child's uniform is returned at the end of the spring season. Return date still yet to be determined. Cheque will ONLY be cashed if uniforms is not returned directly to our Equipment Manager (NOT to your coach).Uniform pick up day for all players/teams is: SATURDAY, APRIL 5, 2014 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (lower storage).

Uniform and equipment return is July 3rd , Thursday , July 3rd from 7 - 8pm
