Lincoln Dominators 2 Nebraska Bison Black 0
Pitching was at a premium on a chilly Tuesday evening at Elks field as the AA Dominators took on the AAA Bison Black. Ryan Parde started and pitched two scoreless innings to get the Dominators off on the right foot. Josh Andreasen (1-0) took over in the third and struggled slightly with control, however, 2 walks were left stranded on the bases. In the bottom of the third, the Dominators struck for their first run. Mikhael Laravie walked and stole second base and then was singled home by Trent Irland. Andreasen pitched well in the 4th and 5th and got an additional run of support as Rhett Black got out of a “pickle” and scored on a rundown. Kole Connick pitched the 6th and 7th to pick up his first save of the season picking off a runner at second base to end the game.
