2006 NSLL Major All-Stars Finished 2nd Place in Section 5
Tuesday, July 25, 2006 - NSLL lost to District 68 (Tijeras Creek) in the finals. NSLL finished the Section 5 tournament in 2nd place - Great Job!!! 2nd place for all of Orange County is an awesome accomplishment!
Monday July 24, 2006 - NSLL Beat District 55, Laguna Hills LL, 10-6 to advance to the Section 5 Finals. Cody Nulph pitched all 6 innings, great defense from Thomas Flansburg and Sivam Rao. NSLL Advances to the finals!
Sunday July 23, 2006 - NSLL played Tijeras Creek (District 68) and lost 6-1.
Friday July 21, 2006 - NSLL Beat East Garden Grove 6-5 to move into the semi-finals (winners bracket) Pookie Guerrero pitched all 6 innings to pick up his 2nd win in two days.
Thursday July 20, 2006 - Major All-Stars win game one in Section 5 with an incredible come from behind win: NSLL went into the bottom of the 6th inning trailing 5-1 (to Huntington Beach), Paul Gutirrez led of the bottom of the inning with a solo Home Run, after several hits, Sivam Rao hit a walk off (2 RBI) double to win the game 6-5! Pookie Guerrero picked up the win.
