16U HOUSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK |
The 16U1 coaches would like to honor 16U goalie extraordinaire Tyler Leniek.
Tyler has established a remarkable record on 16U1 this year with save percentages and goals against. He is a leader on the ice and in the locker room.
Tyler is a freshman at Maine-Endwell High School. In addition to playing goalie for the M-E hockey team and 16U team 1, he plays both running back and linebacker for the M-E Football team and midfielder for the M-E Lacrosse team.
Tyler is a student coach for the goalies on the Binghamton Jr. Senators Pee Wee Statebound team where his brother, Zach, is also a goalie.
Tyler studies both advanced placement math and science while maintaining an overall average of 95. He is also a member of the M-E school’s SADD chapter. His favorite sports team is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with Jameis Winston his favorite player. In his off time, Tyler likes to play Xbox.
He plans on playing sports and studying computer design in college.
Way to go Tyler!
