Goaltending Coaching Clinic

    GOALTENDER COACHING CLINIC

 
There will be an exclusive Goaltender Coaching Clinic" at Northtown Center in Amherst on Sunday Sept. 11th starting at 8:00am through 4:00pm.
 
This clinic may be used as a Level 2, a Level 3, or a Level 3 Recertification.
 
This cannot replace a Level 1 clinic.
 
The clinic is now on the the USA Hockey coaches clinic registration page and is listed as a CEP Skills Workshop.
 
Registration fee for the clinic is $50.00.
 
There will be classroom and an on-ice sessions. Dave Starman will be the lead instructor. He will be joined by a number of highly qualified goaltending coaches, including Mike MacMillan, USA Hockey National Coach in Chief.
 
This will be a great opportunity for all coaches who are working with their goaltenders, or anyone wanting to learn more about coaching the position.
 
Some of the many topics that will be covered are:
Proper stance
Glove position
Stick position
Balance
Fundamental skill developmental drills
Age appropriate save techniques
Off ice preparation
Mental preparation
On ice drills and teaching points
How to get the most out of your goalies and Much More!
 
You do not need to have played Goalie to benefit from this clinic. The program will be geared toward helping any interested coaches improve their ability to develop their goaltenders.

This will be the ONLY Goalie Coach clinic this season in NY, and one of the only such clinics in the US.
