Detective Lt. Brian Long

The New Milford community and NMPD lost a member Tuesday, Detective Lt. Brian Long, after a long battle with cancer. Our deepest sympathies go out to the Long family, his wife, Gina, and three children, Jack, Ryan and Meghan.

Viewing is scheduled for Thursday from 1 to 9 p.m. at Becker Funeral Home in Westwood, followed by a mass Friday at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Park Ridge at 11 a.m. and interment at Mary Rest Cemetery in Mahwah.
