The 10-U Spikes won the rain shortened Spring Shootout on April 15th. The weather was not favorable that weekend but the Spikes played great. After defeating the River City Rockers the Spikes won a birth in the Championship game. By winning the Spring shoot out , the Spikes will have a chance to defend their B.P.A. World Series 2006 title. It was a ruff start with the Ky. Miken Elite jumping out to a 6-0 lead. The spikes made a late top of the 6th inning come back to take the lead. Then, with good pitching and a great over the shoulder diving catch by Damon Wilmos to win the game and tourney the Spikes are off to a great start.

The Spikes played well in their first tournament of the 2007 season. They finished Runners up to a very good and fundamentaly sound team, The Bearcat Nationals from Bowling Green Ky. Facing exclent pitching from a variety of teams including the Dubios County Crush, Evansville Extreme and the Lyndan Lightning.
