St. Johns-Lambros pounded out 13 hits and scored 7 times to defeated South Hills, 7-1 in the 2nd. Game of the Championship Series. The Saints are now 1 win away from their 5th Federation League championship in the last 7 years.
Scott Chisholm struck out 8, while yielding a single run on 5 hits.
Rick Satcho had 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in another. Jim Jaskowski, Greg Stokes, Andy Blackwell and Jason Foreman, all had 2 hits apiece. Jim Jaskowski had 2 RBI, while Satcho, Blackwell, Nate Thimons, and Stokes each had an RBI.
The Saints look to wrap up the series Saturday @ 1 when they host Game 3 at Leech Farm. Adam Hahn will be the Saints starting pitcher. Greg Marshall is expected to start for South Hills.
