St. Johns Saints Baseball

St. Johns-Lambros completed their First-Round sweep of Findlay with an 11-2 victory Sunday at West Allegheny H.S.

Mike Hermann was 3 for 3, with 4 RBI, while Rich Satcho continued his hot hitting by going 4 for 5, with a double, triple, and 2 singles, while driving in a run.  Nate Thimons was 3 for 4 with an RBI.

Adam Hahn threw 7 strong innings giving up 2 runs on 4 hits while striking out 10.  Eric McGough pitched the final inning of this rain-shortened game and struck out 3.  Neither Saint pitcher yeilded a walk.

The Saints now await the winner of the yet to be begun South Hills-Mt. Lebanon series.
