Named ICL MVP in 2012......Signed as a free agent with the A’s just prior to the start of the 2010 Intercity League season…Played for Oakland's affiliate in Vancouver, where he hit .280 in 2010 ......Began the 2011 campaign with Oakland's Single A squad in Bennington, VT…..Appeared in 23 games for the Chiefs in 2011 after his return from the minors hitting an even .300 with two homers, seven stolen bases and 10 RBI….Hit .325 for the Chiefs in 2009 with four homers and 25 RBI…Named as starting centerfielder in Intercity League 2009 all-star game…Broke Brian Macrina's all time career hit record at Merrimack College.... Tony begins his first year in a Chiefs uniform in 2013.....Played four seasons at UMass-Amherst.....Played last summer for the North Shore Navigators of the Futures League.....Was in the Intercity League in 2010 & 2011 with the Testa Corp. Bombers....Went a combined 53 for 130 for the Bombers in 43 games, scoring 31 runs and stealing 17 bases, while hitting a lofty .408.....As a senior at UMass he hit including going 2 for 5 against Notre Dame on March 1.....Started all 44 games in center field as a junior and batted .287, accumulating a team high 50 hits along with 25 RBI, 20 runs scored and 12 stolen bases to go along with16 multi-hit games ...Played four seasons at Malden Catholic under Coach Steve Freker ... Helped the Lancers reach the Division I State finals during his senior season .. Team won a Catholic Conference title his junior season and a North Section championship his senior season ... Won the league batting title in 2007 and was a conference all-star ... Set the Malden Catholic record for career runs scored (107) and stolen bases (74) ... Hit .422 with 30 stolen bases and 45 runs scored during his senior campaign, holding a .500 on-base percentage ... Also played hockey and earned all-conference honors in 2009.....

In 2009, as a sophomore, was the only player to start in all 41 contests at five different positions: third base (18 games), center field (12), left field (4), shortstop (4) and second base (3) and batted .288 with 18 RBI and 26 runs scored...In his freshman year of 2008, Tony became the second-straight Judge to earn UAA Rookie of the Year and First Team All-Association honors leading the team in hits (60), runs scored (37) and total bases (84), while tied for team lead with 33 RBIwith 19 multi-hit games....UAA Player of the Week honors on April 28, 2008 ...Three-sport standout at Lawrence Academy.

Spent his sophomore season of 2011 at D-2 Southern New Hampshire of the Northeast 10 Conference....Hit .216 for the Chiefs in 2011 while appearing in 29 games behind the plate…..Was the starting catcher on the highly successful Eastern Massachusetts Senior Babe Ruth all-star squad that appeared in the SBRL World Series after claiming the New England Championship in 2010.....Former Greater Boston League all-star and excelled in both baseball and hockey during his high school career as a member of the Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons.....Nick is the younger brother of former Chiefs standout and Bridgeport University captain Nate Leva....

Came to the Chiefs in 2012 after spending seven seasons with the Minnesota Twins organization.....Won the ICL's Triple Crown last year.....Juan was selected by the Twins in the Round 15 of the 2004 MLB Draft.....In his seven seasons with the Twins he appeared in 666 games, had 634 hits, including113 doubles, 17 triples and 61 homers.... He appeared in 24 Major League games for Minnesota during spring training of 2010 hitting .333 with three homers and nine RBI.... Was a career .264 hitter as a professional with 314 RBI during his time with Minnesota..... With the ability to play any position for Minnesota, Juan started 274 games in the outfield, 194 at third base, 121 at second base, and 14 at shortstop. ....During his rookie season with the Twins in 2004, he lead the Gulf Coast League with eight homers and hit .327.....Hit nine home runs for Double A New Britain of the Eastern League in 2010 while starting 127 games......

image_name3Former Malden Catholic star returns to the Chiefs for his fourth season after posting serious numbers for Head Coach Steve Freker from 2008-2011....Named as a 2011 Boston Herald All-Scholastic....Was one of the few MC players to start all four years on the varsity baseball team……. Paul was selected to play in the 35th annual Massachusetts Baseball Coaches association Senior All-Star Game.... A two-year captain, he previously led the Catholic Conference in both home runs and RBIs and was a Conference All-Star and Medford Daily Mercury All-Scholastic…… Hit 17 career homers for MC, making him their all time leader.....He was one of the most heavily recruited players in Eastern Massachusetts and played for UMass-Amherst this past spring on a baseball scholarship....Appeared in 12 games for the Chiefs as a rookie in 2010 and hit an even .200.....Last season the Medford, MA native appeared in 35 games hitting .238 (20-84) which included six extra basehits….

Chiefs’ third baseman begins his eighth ICL season in 2013....Started all 45 games in 2011 season at third base hitting an overall .271 (38-140) with four homers and a team leading 28 RBI…. Completed his four year stint at Division II Merrimack College in 2009 where he was co-captain.... Has started 240 games for the Chiefs dating back to the start of the 2006 campaign.... Currently checks in at 9th place on the Chiefs all time career leader list in hits with 223 and is 8th all time in RBI's with 141... Finished the 2008 Merrimack season in the Northeast's Top 20 in batting average, hitting .316 (49-155) with two home runs and eleven extra base hits...Was named the ICL's Rookie of the Year in 2006, when he was among the leaders in most ICL categories...Three time Intercity League all-star tin 2006, 2008 & 2011...Led the Chiefs in 2007 with 17 RBI.....Was a former Greater Boston League all-star third baseman and co-captained Medford High back in 2005...Has also played for the traveling Boston Typos... Played four years of football as a quarterback and linebacker for Medford……

Mike led the Chiefs with four triples, had three doubles and a homer in 2009…..Was named as the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year as a senior at Assumption in 2009.... Selected to the Rawlings/American Baseball Coaches Association NCAA D-2 All American second team and to the NCBW of America all-America team….Named to the ECAC D-2, NCBWA, ABCA and Daktronics all East teams…..Batted a lofty .393 as a senior in 2009 with a team-record 84 hits including 11 homers….Named team captain three consecutive years at Assumption and set career marks in games  (187), games started (187), at bats (731), hits (267), triples and sacrifice flies (11)....Appeared in 34 professional games with the Tornadoes in 2010 as a shortstop and second baseman.....Holds a .302 career Chiefs average with seven home runs and 33 RBI.....

Copa09Peter made his return to the Chiefs in 2012 after spending the majority of 2011 in the California Angels organization....Was signed by the Angels on July 1, 2011, after hitting a lofty .476 for the Chiefs during the first half of the ICL season...Begins his fourth season as a Chief in 2012....Completed a great career at UMass-Amherst in 2011 and was named to the NEIBA D-1 all-star squad..... Over four years with the Minutemen, Copa played in 140 games with 128 starts and hit .319 (149-for-467) with 119 runs scored, 106 RBI, 29 doubles, six triples and 24 home runs. His home run total ranks tied for sixth on the UMass career all time list....Holds a career .359 Chiefs average in three seasons....Hit .366 in 2010 with 17 RBI....Was the Chiefs leading hitter in 2009 with an overall average of .329... Can play many positions but is primarily a first baseman... Was a three-year letter winner as an infielder for Malden Catholic. Captained MC his senior season and lead his team to a 15-7 record while accumulating a .385 BA and 18 RBI Son of Pedro and Anna Copa of Malden, MA...

Coming off an outstanding 2013 College season for Framingham State, Matt joined the Chiefs last summer.....Righty was the ace of the Rams staff posting a 7-3 record with an ERA of 2.97 in 60.2 innings....Threw a complete game four-hit shutout against Westfield State on May 4.....Received four varsity letters and was a two time captain for Coach Steve Freker at Malden Catholic ... Helped Lancers to an Eastern Mass Division I State Semi-Finals title game in 2008... As an outfielder, he was awarded Catholic Conference Gold Glove award in 2008 and also received Catholic Conference All-Star honors in 2008 as well .. ... Is the brother of longtime Chiefs veteran all-star Mike DiCato......

Veteran lefty enters his eighth campaign as a Chief in 2013.....Had a highly productive season in 2012 appearing in 43 games and hitting five homers and adding 20 RBI and was among the league leaders in both categories...Started 35 games in rightfield in 2011....The ultimate team player, he has appeared in 162 games since 2006 with eight home runs and 34 RBI.....Also used as a left- handed pitcher and first baseman but is primarily an outfielder.....  Both a football and baseball standout at Medford High School, graduating in 2005....Played for Mass Bay Community College in 2006 and 2007 where he pitched and played the outfield...Son of Bill and Kathy Boleski of Medford, MA....

Begins his sixth year as a Chief in 2013....Started a career high 41 games in 2011 and was named to the ICL post season all-star team as a second baseman when he hit .260 in 113 at bats with 13 RBI.....Delivered big game winning single in Game Three of the 2011 Championship Series.....Has appeared in 122 games over the last four years......Mike played a utility role in 28 games for the Chiefs in his rookie year of 2008 hitting .313 (15-48).... Former Malden Catholic multi-sport star,graduated from Endicott College in the spring of 2011 ...He is primarily a middle infielder but has the athletic ability to play any position....The Melrose, MA, resident comes from a long family line of talented and highly respected athletes and coaches...

Jon ByrneJon was a late season addition to the Chiefs' 2011 roster as a rookie after having a fine junior season as the starting catcher at Arlington Catholic.....Appeared in four Chiefs games last year going 4-12 primarily (.333) as a pinch hitter.....Arlington, MA native also plays hockey for the highly regarded Cougars.....Recorded his first Intercity League hit, in his first game, on July 27, 2011 against the Lexington Blue Sox....

Landers09Hal rejoined the Chiefs in 2012 after competing a brilliant four year career at Wheaton College.....Appeared in Division 3 College World Series this past spring for the 41-11 national runner up Lyons...Started 51 games for Wheaton in 2012 and hit .343 (74-216) with 30 RBI's and 17 stolen bases....All NEWMAC first team selection, NEIBA all New England second team in 2011 and two time winner ABAC Gold Glove Award winner...  Among Wheaton's all time career leaders in many offensive categories starting 176 games and recording 227 hits...Hit .292 for the Mystic Schooners in the NECBL last summer in 30 games.....First came aboard with the Chiefs in 2009 and played in 2010 and 2011 appearing in 56 games and hitting ,280 (41-152) with a homer and 20 RBI.....Is the son of former Chiefs' star and recently inducted Intercity League Hall of Famer Hank Landers who played professionally in the Milwaukee Brewers organization.........

Mike DiCato 09Versatile veteran does it all for the Chiefs......Can play all positions as well as being resident member of the Chiefs starting rotation....Appeared in 11 games on the mound in 2011 posting a 4-5 record in 58.0 innings with a 2.66 ERA including a nine strikeout no-hitter against Mooney on July 9th... Went 4-1 in 2010 with an overall ERA of 2.06 in nine appearances.... Topped staff in 2009 going 6-4 in 62.1 innings of work with another outstanding ERA of 2.13....As a positional player he appeared in 38 games last season hitting .238 with RBI....Three time ICL all-star (2006, 2009 & 2011)......Completed career at UMass-Amherst in 2009 appearing in 50 games and throwing 180 innings...Took a no-hitter into the ninth inning in the Beanpot Championship against BC at Fenway Park in 2009....Recorded win only allowing three hits against Harvard in the 2008 Beanpot.....Four year varsity letter winner and two time captain at Malden Catholic leading the Lancers to a D-1 state title in 2003 ... Former Catholic Conference MVP ... Earned All-Scholastic selections by the Boston Globe and the Boston Herald ... Also named an Honorable Mention All-American by ACBA ...Currently among Chiefs all time career leaders with 15 wins, 45 appearances, 137 K’s and 205 innings pitched....

image_name2Was a mainstay on the Chiefs pitching staff in 2011 leading the club in appearances with 16 and was second in innings pitched with 75.0.....Posted a 7-3 pitching record with an ERA of 2.89 while being named an ICL all-star....Joined the Chiefs pitching staff for the 2010 season......Posted an ERA of 3.03 in his first Chiefs' season in nine games......Tim was a huge part of the former Cassell Club rotation in 2006 and 2008.,,,,,In 2007, he pitched professionally for the Namur Angels in Belguim where he posted a 7-7 record with an ERA of 1.68 in 118 innings......Went 7-1 overall for Cassell in 2006 throwing 65.2 innings while striking out 56......Returned to the ICL in 2008 and posted a 5-1 record, which included a complete game shutout of the Chiefs on June 26....As a senior at Brandeis University in 2006, Tim went 10-3 for Judges, capping an outstanding collegiate career....He was fifth in the ICL’s MVP award balloting and finished second behind Lexington’s Bill Cooke in the Outstanding Pitcher category when the Cassell Club won the ICL title in 2006.....Resides in Cambridge, MA......

Left-hander joined the Chiefs in 2012 season after spending that Spring on the staff of the 38-13 Western New England University Golden Bears who won their fifth straight Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship....Dan was a three year varsity pitcher for the Malden Catholic Lancers before graduating in 2011......Resides in Swampscott, MA....

JFreni2010Chiefs undisputed stopper in both 2011 & 2012....Was recipient of 2011 co-ICL Outstanding Pitcher Award......Led team in most pitching categories and finished up with a 9-3 mark with an ERA of 1.81 in 87 innings, striking out a league best 114 batters in 15 starts.....Also had an outstanding 2010 season when he went 4-2 with a miniscule 0.62 ERA in ten starts, striking out 79 batters, including a record setting 17 K’s at Mooney on August 6, 2010.....Completed his four year pitching career at UMass-Amherst in 2010 when he served as the team captain....Returned to the Chiefs in 2010 after spending three summers in the NECBL....Appeared in 47 games on the mound for UMass and has struck out 174 batters in 237 innings during his college career... Threw a three-hitter and struck out 13 against Richmond as a senior......Went 2-0 for the Chiefs as a rookie in 2006 with an ERA of 3.71...Selected as a 2006 All-Scholastic while pitching for former Chiefs coach Steve Freker at Malden Catholic....Son of Donna and Robert Freni of Malden, MA
