8U 2004

2004 was the first season for the Spikes Organization. The 8 year old team participated in five tournaments. They finished the season with a 20-3 record. The team took home first place in the Murray Early Bird Classic (going 5-0), Murray Rotary NIT (4-1), Owensboro Mothers Day Classic (5-0) and the Owensboro Classic (5-0). The team particpated in the Avon, Indiana one day tournament but did not place.
The team traveled to Murray Kentucky, Indianapolis Indiana, and Owensboro Kentucky to attend theses events. It was a very, very successful first year for all of the players, parents and coaches. Thanks to everyone whom helped get the Spikes started!!!
