Mississippi Blast 16U

The Mississippi Blast U-14 Tournament Team captured its third consecutive Clinton Invitaional Championship by shutting out all five of its opponents. The Blast would not allow a run the entire tournament, a first, and would outscore its opponents 51-0. With two girls out and one injury the Blast would dig deep and do a tremendous job in all phases of the game. While committing only one error and getting superb pitching performances by Taylor, Kate and Meredith the Blast would capture its third Championship of the summer. Congratulations to the "Girls of Black"!!!!
