PYOTT WINS CATALINA FOR THE 4TH CONCECUTIVE YEAR!

Posted by Michael Collins on Nov 03 2006 at 04:00PM PST
AVALON, CA – Multisports OC athlete and coach Ian Pyott won the Catalina Island Sprint Triathlon for the fourth consecutive year to become the first 4-time winner of the race. He seems to be on his way to being the next “Buffalo” Bill McDermott who won the Catalina Marathon seven times in a row and an amazing 13 times total. Although there were significant changes to bike and run course it did not deter Pyott from dominating the field to win by nearly 4 minutes.
