Ian Pyott Defends Title at Long Beach Sprint Tri 2006

LONG BEACH, CA - Over 20 Multisports OC & Nova Masters swimmers raced at the Long Beach Sprint Triathlon on September 24, 2006. Ian Pyott defended his title as overall champion with a winning time of 55:56 which was more than 5 minutes ahead of the next finisher! Other male podium finishers included: Scott Spence, who finished 2nd to Ian in the Elite Division. Cameron Eckman won the 40-44 age group and was 3rd overall leaving from the last wave! Tyler Rodgers won the 14-15 age group. Dan Graham won the 25-29 age group. Ryan Dolan was 2nd in 30-34. Bob Kinney won the 50-54, and Klim Granovsky was 2nd in 55-59. Fleet Feet sponsored athlete Nichole Newton was the first overall female finisher. Also to podium was the mighty Vicky Glick (See photo below).
