Frisco Amateur Summer Swim Team (FASST) is a summer swim team that started in Frisco over 35 years ago. We are the largest summer swim team in the state of Texas (with close to 650 swimmers on our team last year, ages 5-17). Our coaches are some of the best in the area. They have coached USA teams, high school teams and Olympians. Our swimmers have performed well on the high school level; with several becoming state champions, some setting State High School Records and several High School All Americans. Over 35 of our former swimmers have continued on to swim in college.
Head Coach/CEO Welcome
The coaching staff of the Frisco Amateur Summer Swim Team would like to welcome you and your family to the team. Hopefully you are as excited about the upcoming season as we are. We believe you and your children have chosen to participate in one of the best sports available in one of the best run sports programs in the Frisco area. As a staff, we intend to do everything possible to make this an enjoyable learning experience for your children. We are here for you.
Swimming is a skill set that every child should have. Doesn’t mean that you have to swim in high school or college. But if your child goes to the lake or a neighborhood pool, they should be to take care of themselves in the water. FASST is a GREAT PLACE TO START. A summer with us, your child will be a fish. FASST swim team is for ages 5-17. We have our practices and meets at the FISD Natatorium.“Swim FASST or be Last!”
Trent Emmons – FASST Head Coach/CEO
We would like to welcome you to the FASST 2018 Season. Your Board of Directors and Coaching staff have been working hard throughout the year to ensure that this season is fun and successful for everyone. We continue to run a well organized and efficient swim team meet, with thanks going out to many, dedicated volunteers.
We want everyone to feel like they are a part of the team, so if you are interested in volunteering, in any capacity, be sure to let us know. If you are new to FASST this year, or competitive swimming, you may have some questions. Please do not hesitate to ask myself, or other board members or coaches or even returning families for help. We’re looking forward to another great summer.
