Spring will be here before we know it and it’s time to begin getting ready for March.
In addition to the ‘in person’ event we will be holding in January we are offering the opportunity to register via mail beginning today!
Simply fill in the form attached (same as last year) and mail to:

Indians-
The Winter session is only a few weeks away. We are fielding boys teams at each level- 3/4th, 5/6th and 7/8th.
Please contact PSC directly to register and confirm. They are managing the registration process this year. If you are a 'new' Indian - be sure to specify that you are from Mt. Laurel and you'll be placed on our teams.
The time is nearly here… Spring Lacrosse season is just around the corner!
Last year we had snow on the turf up to about 2 days before practice started…. Every year it’s a new challenge.
Thank you all for registering for Mt. Laurel Indians Lacrosse. This is our 8th year for boys and 6th for the girls.We’ve grown from 15 boys in year one to over 200 boys and girls from Kindergarten through 8th grade in 2011.
You will be receiving communications from the front office (me) via email here and a new messaging option from our website throughout the year.The next communications you will get over the next week or so will be from your coaches and they will be conveying the practice schedules and what you will need to do.
Please remember….- Weather –
- it will be cold at night when we practice – dress the kids in layers
- We are typically rain or shine- your coach will make the call
- Gear-
- Make sure your kids come to practice with ALL their gear –
- Good idea to label stuff and having a gear bag helps
- If unsure of what you need- check the website- the list under SCOOPERS will cover it all
- Practice Jerseys/ pinnies are coming
- Game Jerseys/shorts/skorts – will be in before games start.
This is such an exciting sport- for the newest Indians- your kids will love it and you will really enjoy watching them play.
I encourage you to stay and watch the practices- you’ll be amazed with the kids that start – having trouble cradeling and passing to being in week 3 of the season – watching them make such huge strides and passing/catching and moving the ball all the way up the field. We will be holding parents meetings by team and will look to schedule a ‘meet the coaches’ session(s) where you will be able to ask any questions you have regarding the game. This is a great opportunity to explore helping out on the side line assisting with the coaches. This is our greatest challenge.
Looking forward to a great season- with our largest crew of kids to date.

What a great event ! We registered 31 boys and 19 girls ! Great to see old freinds and meeting new ones too.
The girls teams are locked down with the exception of scoopers and 5/6th. Need about 8-10 more 5/6th to be able to field two teams- almost there.
The boys are locked down with the exception of scoopers as well.

Mt. Laurel Lacrosse will be holding an Open House- Registration Event on Wednesday 2/9 (revised day) from 7- 9pm at the new Ruff Lax Store located on Kings Highway in Maple Shade (next door to Iron Hill Brewery Restaurant)
We will have Spring 2011 Registration Forms on hand if you havent done so already and bring a friend!
