Riverside Hockey Club

Another exciting game to watch with two teams very evenly matched and both battled hard the entire game.  First period Nordonia dominated the net scoring twice and ending the first period 2-0.  Second period started off with Nordonia scoring again two times.  But Riverside kicked it into gear in the second period when our freshman Zach McBride got a well deserved goal assisted by the entire offensive line Jake Sintic and Adam Hayes.  Nordonia got another one in the net shortly after that.  Michael Branem gave Riverside a goal unassisted making the score 5-2.  Vinny Tomolonis started the third period off with a goal asssited by Tyler Kokal and Michael Branem.  Nordonia scored again.  The game was full of intensity as both teams continued to battle strongly.  Michael Branem hit nothing but net on a power play goal assisted accurately by Dale Montgomery.  One final goal from Michael Branem assisted by Ryan Zawacki and Peter Mancisio in the last 43 seconds of the game gave Riverside 5 and Nordonia 6.  What a game!  Congratulations to Michael Branem on his hat trick!
