Cheer Competition - November 9th

Posted by Lynda Sata at Oct 27, 2003 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )
Wow! Competition is just around the corner! Here is some important information you should be aware of. Competition is at Sealth High School. 2600 SW Thistle St, Seattle ALL CHEER SQUADS: We cheer for the PeeWees at 9 a.m. (be there at 8:15). We will have a quick break for a snack before we cheer for the Midgets at 11 a.m. We will go directly from the Midget game to competition at 1 p.m. We will perform first. Once all squads have performed we will have a lunch break during the Bantams game. After the Bantams game, scores from competition will be announced. Last but not least we will cheer at 4 p.m. for the SweetPea's. PLEASE PACK A BAG including a sack lunch, drink, and some warm clothes (FOR WHEN WE ARE NOT CHEERING) ex: sweats, sweatshirt, gloves, feet and hand warmer, blanket. These bags need to be checked in with the coaches at 8:15 a.m. with your childs name clearly marked. The parents WILL NOT BE ALLOWED by the cheerleaders all day, SO PACK WISELY. This will be STRICTLY enforced by he league. We need volunteers to pack an extra lunch for those who forget (cocession food will not be allowed). Parents -- Don't forget your $1.00 to get in the gate, and cheerleaders dress in full uniform. Each cheerleader needs to wear their crop tops and their hair ribbons. Hair is to be in a plain whole ponytail. Nothing leading back to it. Metal clips aren't allowed, but bobbypins are ok. As safety rules, there is ABSOLUTELY no glitter, no jewelry, and shoes must be tied (bow showing). Fingernails shouldn't be able to be seen over your finger tips. No fingernail polish. If you wear makeup, it must be natural looking. There rules will be enforced by us and by the league cheer director. Go Panthers!!
