Announcement
We are offering Summer Baseball for the kids of Manhattan and Hermosa beach, age 7-13 as of April 30 of this year. The program consists of 5 age-appropriate, just for fun divisions and the kids play 2 games per week starting the 3rd week of July through the month of August. There is no snack stand obligation and almost no practices. Go to our active.com registration page for all the details.
Season
3rd week in July through late AugustAge 12/13
This is a preview of Jrs. baseball which is played on a 90' (basepath) field. Unlike the lower leagues, there will be short practices to prepare the 12 year-olds for the transition to a bigger field. Details are TBD.Age 10/11
This league will consist of kids that will likely play in Majors next year. Note that kids age 10 placed in this league are not guaranteed to play Majors in the spring. Games are Tuesday evening and Saturday afternoon.Age 9/10
This league will consist of kids that will likely play in International next year. Note that kids age 9 placed in this league are not guaranteed to play in International in the spring. Games are Tuesday evening and Saturday afternoon.Age 8/9
This league will consist of kids that will likely play in Coast next year. Note that kids age 7 placed in this league are not guaranteed to play in Coast in the spring. Games are Wednesday evening and Saturday afternoon.Age 7/8
Age 7 and some 8's that will likely play Cal (coach pitch) next spring. If your 8 year-old has already played Cal, but needs a review before kid pitch, this is the league to pick. If you have a league-age 6 player that played Cal by exception this spring, he or she also is eligible. Games are Friday evening and Sunday afternoon.
