MARLITE CONSTRUCTION

Thanks to all the players and parents of Marlite Construction for a great season! It was alot of fun for myself and the coaches to work with all the players this year! I hope you guys had just as much fun and remember....keep practicing for next year! Have a great summer Chris Hardardt Marlite Comes up Big in the Playoffs! With two big wins over the weekend: 11-6 over Cutrone's 5-1 over Pasko Marlite heads to the National League Championship game, Thursday night at 5:30 against Metro Star Cafe. Come one down the Stadium to see two excellent teams battle it out for the title! Marlite Gets back on Winning Track! Marlite 12 Tranchina 5 On a beautiful Father's day morning, Marlite got back on the winning track with a 12-5 victory over Tranchina. Ryan Hardardt had a big day for Marlite pitching three strong innings to start on the mound and Steven Wasserfall pitched the final three innings to close it out. Shane Hitzler led off and scored 3 runs on the day and Ryan Hardardt had two big hits and three RBI's to lead the offense. Marlite had a big 4th inning as Nick Manfre, Shane Hitzler, Anthony Parisi and Chris Hardardt all ripped singles in route to a 7 run inning. With the victory, Marlite improved to 6-3 on the season. Marlite Suffers First Defeat of Season May 11, 2003 Ranshaw Oil 11 Marlite 8 On a rainy, cool Mother's Day at Seither Stadium, Marlite Construction and Ranshaw Oil took to the field shorthanded for a rookie division game. For the second week in a row Marlite dug themselves a hole early in the game, falling behind 7-3 after the first 2 innings before a late rally, falling short to a tough Ranshaw team by a final score of 11-8. The "Cardiac Kids" of Marlite kept battling back and had the tying run at the plate in the last inning! Brett Buser continued stay hot at the plate with a 3 for 3 day and Chris Hardardt was 1 for 2 with a run scored and made two excellent stops behind the plate. Ryan Hardardt and Nick Manfre pitched well over the last two innings to hold off a tough Ranshaw offense. Anthony Parisi earned the game ball for his clutch hit and RBI in the last inning. Marlite "Constructs" a Huge Comeback May 5, 2003 Marlite 11 Kew Forest 10 Chris Hardardt's walk-off double in the bottom of the sixth drove in Nick Manfre, completing a comeback from a six run deficit as Marlite improved to 5-0 on the season. Kew Forest swung the bats early and often, putting on a great offensive display, scoring 10 runs over the first three innings,but the young Marlite "Cardiac Kids" kept chipping away at the lead. Ryan Hardardt was the pitching star of the game, putting out the fire, striking out 5 over the last two innings to earn the victory. In the top of the 6th, Ryan struck out the first two batters and Brett Buser made a great stop at first to put Marlite in position to mount the comeback! The Marlite offense was led by Brett Buser (4 for 4 3 RBI's), Chris Hardardt (4 for 4 with 4 ribbies), Dimi Artale (2 for 2 1 RBI, and Nick Politano ( 1 for 3 with a big hit to get the rally going in the last inning). John Frost ahd two big runs scored and Anthony Labarca had a solid day with two singles. Anthony Parisi led a strong defensive effort. Marlite takes the field again on Sunday May 11th against Ranshaw Oil at 4:00PM Marlite Wins #3!!!!! April 28, 2003 Game #3 - Marlite 6 World Gym 4 In a well played game between two tough Rookie teams, Marlite Constrution battled it's way back to defeat World Gym 6-4. Brett Buser and Shane Hitzler combined for the pitching victory as Brett battled the tough World Gym lineup for the first three innings and Shane closed it out striking out 4 over the last two innings. Shane became the fifth different pitcher to take the mound for Marlite this season! The offense was led by Brett Buser's 3 ribbies and one each from Shane Hitzler, James Coyne and Dylan Foster. Marlite scored 6 runs over the last two innings to seal the victory. Congratulations and thanks to substitute manager Scott Wasserfall on a job well done! Tuesday April 22, 2003 Marlite Improves to 2-0! Game #2 - Marlite 17 Cutrone's 2 Nick Manfre and Steven Wasserfall made their pitching debuts in grand fashion, combining for the victory, leading Marlite to a 17-2 victory over Cutrone Tuesday night at Seither Stadium. Nick stuck out 7 over the first three innings and Steven finished the game strong striking out five. The Marlite offense was in high gear all game long as leadoff man Brett Buser went 3 for 4 driving in 5 runs, Nick Manfre was a perfect 3 for 3 with 3 ribbies and Chris Hardardt ripped 2 doubles into the gap driving in 2. Nick Politano, John Frost and Dylan Foster all chipped in scoring 2 runs each. James Coyne, Ryan Hardardt, Anthony Parisi and Anthony Labarca all contributed to the offensive assault with a hit and a run each! Marlite takes the field 2 times this weekend, Saturday morning vs. Pasko at 8:00AM and Sunday against World Gym at 2:00PM. GAME #1 - MARLITE 6 RINALDO 4 ON A BEAUTIFUL SPRING (FINALLY) SUNDAY MORNING, MARLITE AND RINALDO HOOKED UP IN A GREAT OPENING DAY GAME. BRETT BUSER AND RYAN HARDARDT COMBINED FOR THE VICTORY ON THE MOUND. BRETT STRUCK OUT 8 OVER THE FIRST 3 INNINGS AND RYAN FINISHED UP STRIKING OUT 5 OVER THE FINAL 2 INNINGS EN ROUTE TO HIS FIRST VICTORY OF THE SEASON. ANTHONY LABARCA SCORED THE FIRST RUN OF THE SEASON FOLLOWING A WALK TO DYLAN FOSTER AND DIMI ARTALE DROVE IN SHANE HITZLER AND BRETT BUSER IN THE TOP OF THE 5TH TO SEAL THE VICTORY. DIMI ARTALE(2 FOR 2 2RBI'S), NICK MANFRE (2 FOR 2 1RUN)AND CHRIS HARDARDT (2 FOR 2 2RBI'S) WERE THE HITTING STARS OF THE DAY. THE MARLITE DEFENSE WAS STRONG ALL DAY AS SHANE HITZLER MADE A GREAT STOP IN RIGHT FIELD TO HELP SLOW A RINALDO RALLY. CHRIS HARDARDT THREW OUT A WOULD BE BASE STEALER IN THE 2ND TO HELP KEEP THE GAME CLOSE. DIMI ARTALE EARNED THE GAME BALL FOR HIS GAME WINNING RBI AND OVERALL GREAT GAME.

Seither Stadium is the home of the Ridgewood-Glendale-Middle Village-Maspeth Little League and is located at 78th Ave. & Woodhaven Blvd. in Glendale Queens.
 
There are three playing fields used for Boys Baseball and Girls Softball. There are two regular Little League fields and one Instructional / Rookie field. All Senior and Travel team games are played at Juniper Valley Park and Victory Field. There are over 600 players and 40 teams that range in ages 5-18.

Dear RGMVM Little League Parent,


On behalf of the RGMVM Little League Board of Directors I would like to welcome you, and your child to the 67th season of Ridgewood - Glendale - Middle Village - Maspeth baseball and softball.

 The registration fee for the 2018 season is as follows: Age Divisions: 5-14 $180.00 for the first child. The registration fee includes $75.00 in raffle tickets. For the second player ages 5-14 in the same immediate family the cost is an additional $100 which includes another $75.00 in raffles. Any additional child will be $50.00. Age Division: 15-16 $230.00 with $100.00 in raffles.


The registration fee includes the cost for the uniform shirt and cap. The gray uniform pants are not included and must be purchased separately. The gray uniform pants are a league rule for the 9-12-year-old divisions, and all players are required to wear them. All new players to the league should reside in the RGMVM LL boundaries of Zip Codes. 11227, 11385, 11379, and 11378.


 

All league volunteers (managers, coaches, umpires, board members, etc.) will again be screened with a background check. This background check is mandatory and required by Little League Baseball.
