St. Louis Diamond Cats

Parents, As we discussed at the team meeting we are offering Domino's Pizza Cards for our players to sell to help cover the cost of our team expenses this season. At the meeting, the players were given Domino's Cards for them to sell, and a flyer to help with the sales pitch. Each pizza card is to be sold for $10. For just that $10, the customer can receive 20 free large pizzas as part of a buy one - get one free offer. For every large pizza they buy at the regular price, they can get another pizza of equal or lesser value free...up to 20 free pizzas. Their card is punched once for each free pizza. They can use the 20 free pizzas one at a time, two at a time, three, twenty, etc. Each customer using the card can expect to save from $2.00 to $7.99 with each use, even versus using Domino's best coupons. That would be anywhere from a total of $40.00 to $159.00 saved if the customer uses the entire card. Seems like a great deal to us! For each $10.00 card sold, you personally make $9.00. That is a 90% profit, and is the best of any of the fundraisers we looked at. If you sell 20 cards, of the $200.00 you collect, $180.00 will go to the team to offset your share of the team expenses, and $20.00 will go to Domino's for the cards. At hitting practice on 1/19/2005, we will collect any unsold cards and the proceeds from the cards you did sell. Please write a single check to the team for the total amount of the cards you sold at a rate of $10.00 per card. We will credit your Diamond Cats account for $9.00 per card sold. We will get the $1.00 per card to Domino's. For example, if you sell 15 cards, you will write a check to the team for the $150.00 you collected and return the 5 remaining cards to us. Your Diamond Cats account will be credited $135.00 and we will pay Domino's the $15 for the cards you sold. That is $135 you do not have to spend for team fees! Do not feel that there is a limit to the number of cards you can sell, either. If your player can sell more please contact us, and we will provide them with more cards. The more cards they sell the less your out-of-pocket expenses for the season will be. Please DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS MADE OUT TO THE DIAMOND CATS. Try to collect cash if possible. If you do accept a check it should be from someone you know and made out to you or your parents. Depending on the response we get from this program we could offer these cards to sell in March and April as well. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thanks, Coach Neil

There will be a team fundraising meeting on Monday, November 22nd at 6:30 pm. We will have pizza, drinks, and dessert available. If you will be unable to attend, we will make sure you get all information to help you with fundraising for your daughter. Please let us know if you have any ideas to present at the meeting! Parents, It is that time of year! Time to start collecting funds for upcoming tournaments and expenses. Please get your initial $100 fee mailed to me as soon as possible. Also, please let me know about that tournament date. I need to get us signed up for this before it is too late! Also, please be thinking about fundraising ideas for the team meeting. (8/31/04)The St. Louis Diamond Cats 14U(Seltzer) has it's 2005 roster chosen. We have several new faces. Our roster includes Alisha, Allison, Anna, Jana, & Mo from last years team. We have added Addie, Ashley, Carli, Keri, Lindsay, Lori, & Nikki.
