Bulldogs win Opening Game of SI Sportstown Kent, WA Tournament to Extend Win Streak to 9 Games

Game 2 of the Sports Illustrated Sportstown Kent WA Tournament was also a rainout makeup game for the 16U Bulldogs who got a 7 – 3 win over Seattle Select.  Doug Jones threw a complete game, 108 pitches walking 4 with 4 strikeouts and 2 earned runs. 

Center Fielder, Nick Minteer led the offense going 2-4 with a double, 1 RBI and 2 runs scored.  Second Baseman, Trevor Baldwin was 2-2 with 1RBI and Jake Kushan was 2-4 with an RBI.  Matt Simond added 2 hits in 3 plate appearances. 

The 16U Bulldogs win streak is now at 9 games and they put their winning streak on the line Friday July 10 at 7:00 PM against Toyota Baseball in the second round of the SI Sportstown Kent WA Tournament.  This game is also a league game rainout make up from earlier in the season.
