We Hit The Road So You Don’t Have To.

On November 10, 2012 CA District 57 is hosting a training event for all District and League Staff volunteers. Training seminars will be held for League Officials, Safety, Umpires, Player Agents, and others.

The training will be held at the Pleasanton Hilton at the Club on Saturday November 10, 2012.

With nearly 7,000 leagues nationwide, it would be impossible for Little League’s professional staff members to conduct league administration, umpire and coaches clinics for each. Nonetheless, our top staff members and volunteers have teamed up to bring truckloads of tips to your backyard. Consider it a live version of the publication “A Year In the Life of Hometown Little League!” Clinics may vary slightly from site to site, but at every stop local league volunteers just like you will learn how best to implement the Little League program in their town or neighborhood.

Cameron, only 10 years old at the time, was told by the doctors, "We're going to cure your mom. We need you to be there for her and help her through this." More...

One of the marketing ideas used by many of the large sporting events the last few years to help draw fans to the event is the FanFest concept. Most of the events involve interactive games the fans can take part in, many times geared toward children.

Kirkland (Wash.) National Little League (KNLL) uses this concept for an annual event the local league has hosted for many years.

“Our FanFest is about having a good time and enjoying the game,” Ken McCumber, KNLL President, said. “It is an event that brings all of our players, a lot of their parents, and members of our community together for a fun day. More...
