2012 Season registration update
On March 18th the first and only in-person registration night was held. As a result there are 70 players registered for the 2012 season. We continue to accept registrations online at registration.gcmfl.com and we encourage all players interested in playing to do so. If you wish to pay via cheque and regular mail instead of paying online please email executive at gcmfl dot com for the address.
The league will be holding an executive meeting on March 26th at 5:30 pm followed by the captains meeting at 7:00 pm in Stittsville at Broadway Bar and Grill.
Agenda topics include:
- Number of teams
- Tournament date (June 8-10, 15-17 or 22-24)
- Player draft date process

The 2012 Season Kicks Off with online Registrations now being accepted!
Registration for the 2012 season of the Glen Cairn Men's Fastball League will be held at the Stittsville Broadway Bar & Grill on the following dates:
- Sunday March 18th: 7PM - 9PM (NOTE: Date has been changed to March 18th)
The Stittsville Broadway Bar & Grill is located at 1261 Main St. in Stittsville Ontario.
Fees remain the same as 2011:
- $150 for new players (new)
- $150 for former members that did not play in 2011(legacy)
- $175 for returning players from 2011(returning)
Electronic registration and (optional) credit-card payment is also up and running and can be access 24x7!
The registration web site is: registration.gcmfl.com. Once all of your data has been entered it will give you a link to the payment site in case you wish to pay electronically. Paying electronically will cost an additional $5 (non-refundable) since that is what it costs the league to have PayPal process the transactions on our behalf.
We would appreciate it if as many players as possible would submit their data electronically - it saves you having to fill out a paper form and saves us having to subsequently enter your data manually.
Players who can make it to the registration session on March 11th are encouraged to submit their data electronically and then show up in person with a cheque or cash to pay their fees and have a drink with other league members.
League play runs from May through August, with playoffs in August and September. All teams play one regular season game per week for a total of 14-16 games depending on the number of teams. Teams are also guaranteed a minimum of three games at the mid-season tournament in June.
Regular season and playoff games are played at the A.Y. Jackson High School diamond at 150 Abbeyhill Road in Kanata. Game nights are Monday to Wednesday, with 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM game times.
