Our Wrestler of the week for March 10, 2008 is:
Kai Orine, Dakota Thevel, Tanner Hart, Nick Scherer, Jackson Hanify, Weston Basler, Billy Duncan, Matthew Kraus, Cody Tesson, and Garrett Halbach share wrestler of the week honors for outstanding performances at the District Tournament.
Dakota, Nick and Billy did some of their best wrestling of the year to finish second it very tough brackets.
Cody had to be carried out and taken to the hospital. Cody was back in the practice room on Monday.
Kai, Tanner, Jackson, Weston, Matthew and Garrett all finished the day with a gold medal.
Jackson was wrestling injured and Garrett had to wrestle with "The Mask".
Great job guys!
Our Wrestler of the week for February 25, 2008 is:
Elijah Dale, Jacob Mirly, Jimmy Huskey, Brian Duncan, Chris Repple, Nickolous Duren, Zachary Durbin, Jackson Hanify, Luke Weiland, Brock Wingbermuehle, Chandler Sykes, Cole Hamai, Brett Feager, Carly Valleroy, Cody Tesson, Dillon Harris (House), Tommy Scott, Alexander Langley and Jacob Mueller share wrestler of the week honors for outstanding performances at the AAU State Tournament.
The entire team wrestled well at the AAU State tournament. These wrestlers did particularly well. Chris, Jackson, Luke, Brock, Brett, Carly, Joe, Cody, Dillon, Tommy and Jacob each won an AAU State title. Every other guy listed here placed high in very tough brackets.
Special recognition goes out to our four Triple Crown winners. The Triple Crown winners were Luke Weiland, Chris Repple, Max Newbury and Brock Winbermuehle. This is the second year in a row that Brock has won the Triple Crown. That is quite an accomplishment.
Congratulations to the Fox JagWarriors on their sixth consecutive AAU State title. Let's keep it going into the USA State series!
Our Wrestler of the week for February 18, 2008 is:
Carly Valleroy, Chase Tripp, Matthew Kraus, Jacob Lynch, Blake Prater, Tommy Scott, Kaleb Cheek and Brian Duncan share wrestler of the week honors for outstanding performances at the Fox Tournament.
The entire team looked good at the Fox Tournament. These guys really caught the coaches' attention. Good luck to everyone at AAU State. Let's defend our State Title!
Our Wrestler of the week for February 11, 2008 is:
Steve Smith, Dylan Looney, Tanner Hart and Jarad Sheppard share wrestler of the week honors for outstanding performances at the Oakville and Triad Tournaments.
It looks like the team is improving each week. AAU State is just around the corner. Keep up the good work.
