We are also looking for any new sponsors, please let Pat know by December. Equipment bags need to be collected from all managers so they can be stored for the winter. All division heads must call their managers. If there are any openings for managers please let the board know also if there are any recommendations please inform the division head. Pat announced a mandatory background check for all volunteers, (board members, managers, coaches, umpires, and auxiliary members); this check is being is mandated by Little League. All those stated above will have to sign a release so they can be checked. If the procedure is not followed we can loose our Charter. There is a new trailer at the field it will be used for the umpires to change and store their equipment. Also to be used by the managers to have access to bases and equipment, managers will have keys to the trailer. We have a new web sight, check it out, minutes from each meeting will be posted. If anyone has ideas please let us know. Registration will be held Fridays, January 24th & 31st and Saturday January 25 & February 1st. A flyer will go out with the registration form explaining the background check. A $50 charge will be added to the registration fee of all the families that did not complete work detail for the 2002 season. Pat noted that the much work has been put into the fields, the mounds have been raised and the pitching rubber will be changed. Mound covers were made and put in place. Please be respectful of our fields to keep them in pristine shape. We also ask that board members drive by the field to ensure that football players do not dig up our fields like they did a few weeks ago.
