Python's vs. Woodbury @ Ali RV - June 1st

Once again another shortened game due to the incredibily hot bats of the hometown boys.  Nate Buckely was the starting pitcher going 3 innings facing 14 batters - 4 strike outs, 3 base on balls, and 1 run.  Eric Gary came on to finish the game pitching the 4th and 5th innings. He faced six batters gave up to walks, no hits, and struck out 2 to wrap things up for the Pythons.

The hitters were hitting again racking up 4 runs after the first inning, and then 4 more in the 2nd inning including a GRAND SLAM by Eric Gray. Score 8-0 after 2. The Woodbury boys got a few timely walks, fielders choice, and SAC fly to center field all resulting in one run. After 3 innings score 8-1.

In the fourth inning, Eric Gray came on to pitch facing 6 batters, walking 2, and striking out 2 to end the game.

Final score Python's 11 - Woodbury 1.

Python's vs. Hi-Tower @ Ali RV  - May 31st

Great pitching and even better hitting got things started for the hometown boys.  Chase Bosshart pitched two fantastic innings - facing 7 batters, and only allowing one baserunner on a walk.  Alex Emery came on to pitch the 3rd, 4th, and 5th innings facing 10 batters and again only allowing one baserunner by walk.

The bats were hot with 18 hits one was a bomb by Nate Buckley in the 1st inning - going long over the left center field wall. We racked up 5 runs in the 1st inning, 8 runs in the 2nd, 4 in the 4th, and 2 in the 5th before the game was called on the Mercy Rule.

Great performance - let's keep it going!!

 Final score Python's 19 - Hi-Tower 0
