Welcome to the internet home of the

2006 & 2007 NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPION 49ERS

Congratulations to the 2007 Champion 49ers

The 2007 season was a huge success for second year in a row for the 49ers.  The 49ers beat the Rams to won the National League Championship game 20-18.  The 49ers began their season with the player draft in July 2007.  We were positioned and scheduled to start picking our players in the 31st round of the draft because of our success in 2006.  Even though we began picking late, the coaching staff remained optimistic and confident that we would have a successful season with players drafted and returning players from the 2006 Championship Season.

The players began their season, worked hard, and made 49er history.  Since this league began over 40 years ago, the 49ers had never had a championship season, especially 2 years in a row.

The 49ers are part of the Fremont Football League based in Fremont, CA. The league was established in 1964 by members of the Oakland Raiders and has seen a few players make it to the professional level. The league has three divisions, which includes Continental, National, and American Divisions. The Continental division is our league’s newest division, established in 2005, will consist of six teams named Chiefs, Colts, Saints, Panthers, Cardinals, and Giants for players aged 7-8-9. Our team, 49ers, play in the National Division which consist of eight teams named Rams, Redskins, Steelers, Buccaneers, Eagles, Falcons, and Bills that has player aged 10-11-12. The American Division consist of six teams named Broncos, Raiders, Patriots, Vikings, Bears, and Jets for the older, larger players ages range from 12-13-14 with higher weight ranges.

Our goal as a staff is to develop well-rounded young men as football players and young women as cheer leaders who learn not only the fundamentals of football, but also the importance of education, in an atmosphere conducive to developing sound mind, body and character while having a good time along the way. We practice the ideals of sportsmanship and physical fitness. Our program stresses learning lessons of value far beyond the playing days such as, respect for authority, self-discipline, teamwork, friendship, and leadership.
