We are happy to announce the Summer 2013 Camp dates.
To maximize player participation and create competitive/age appropriate training groups and teams, this year we are partnering with Lake Grove Soccer Club.
The Camps will be run and staffed by our club Directors of Coaching, Tim Graham, Eddie Hackett, and Frank Stagnitta East End Soccer Academy (EESA).
Camp dates and details:
Week 1
Dates: July 5-8
Time: 5pm - 8pm
Players: 5-14 year old (Lake Grove Newfield (LGN) club players, and non-club players are all welcome)
Location: North Coleman Elementary School. North Coleman Road, Centereach.
Price: $100 per player (Sibling discount available via online registration site)

Times: 3 options;
9am-10:30am for U5 and U6
9am-12pm (Morning) U5-U14
9am-3pm (Full Day Camp including mini camp tournament) U5-U14

Newfield Soccer Club Employs a Full time Director of Coaching (DOC)
Selden, NY (Monday July13 , 2009) – As we look forward to the Fall 2009 season, Newfield Soccer Club announces an exciting new partnership with reputable DOC Eddie Hackett.
The club will now reap the benefits of an on-site full-time Director of Coaching. This strategic move reaffirms the club’s dedication to player development in the local area, and the commitment to providing the highest level of training and development to the players, coaches and parents of Newfield S.C and the Middle Country Central School District.
“Newfield Soccer Club is very excited to be partnering with Eddie Hackett,” said Jack Catalayud, Newfield Soccer Club President. “We are looking forward to having a full-time director of coaching involved with the club.” Eddie Hackett is a well-known trainer in the area with a reputation for excellence. “I am looking forward to the new position with the club and the opportunity to help take the program to the next level,” he said.

CLINIC - Boys & Girls U8/ U7 Training Session
Graduating from the Cleats & Feets Division to the Midgets & Munchkins Division is like any other new experience, exciting and scary at the same time. The kids move from a small field to a larger field. They will now start to perform corner kicks, throw-ins, penalty kicks and etc.
To help introduce these new skills to our newest members of our Midgets & Munchkins Division, Newfield Soccer Club will be conducting a clinic. This clinic will review corner kicks, throw-ins, penalty kicks and positions with these children.
The clinic will be held on August 20 & 27, 2009 at Stagecoach Elementarty School 6:30 - 8:00 PM. Children in the Midgets & Munchkins Division (U-8 & U-7) are eligiable for this clinic at no additional costs.

Newfield Soccer Club Board
The All Star Academy program is for young committed soccer players from the NSC Intramural program, looking to further their soccer skills and their future in the game. The All Star Academy program is for the U7, U8 and U9 Intramural age division players. Teams are formed gender specific (coed if necessary, although coed teams have to play in boys divisions in leagues and tournaments). These players/teams will be provided with one (1) extra training session per week. We ask Intramural coaches not to set training sessions on the same night as the All Star Academy training to avoid such conflict. The All Star Academy training is conducted under the guidance of the DOC/Club Training Staff and Volunteer parent-coaches. All Star teams will have the opportunity to participate in All Star Academy/intramural tournaments throughout the year and winter league (Futsal).
CURRICULUM
This program is designed to teach players the importance of individual skill development and technique. Along with technique, we strive to teach players (and parents) the importance of hard work, focus, dedication and commitment as a recipe for excellence.
ELIGIBILITY
Players must have a genuine passion and enjoyment towards the game of soccer and be willing to work hard for a place on an All Star Academy team. Players will be encouraged to work with the soccer ball in their own time (away from scheduled practices) to continually develop and improve their technical ability with the soccer ball. Players must attend a larger percentage of All Star Academy practices to remain in the All Star Academy training program.
COSTS
All players must be registered with NSC to participate in the All Star Academy program. Other costs include team training, tournaments and winter league registration fees.
