Saturday 7th April 2007. Temple Rangers 1 v 2 Kilroot Rec @ Killyleagh Leisure Centre Kilroot scorers Nicky Sharples (p) Darren McKinty On this farcical boy pitch @ Killyleagh Leisure Centre far too small for adult football Kilroot squeezed all three points in this tense fixture. It was Temple who created the first chance in the early part of the game breaching Kilroot’s offside trap but Phillip Brownlee standing in for injured Gary McClune made a brave double save at the feet of the Temple forward. Both teams had chances with McKinty and Kidd squandering half chances for Kilroot. 30 minutes from a throw in Kilroot’s Phillip Burnside was pushed over in the box the referee pointed to the spot, Nicky Sharples sent the keeper the wrong way.
