The 3rd & 4th Grade Jets are just one win away from clinching first place in the conference. The Jets won a hard fought game on Homecoming Saturday, beating the Chiefs 13-6 in the cold and rain. The story of this game was the Jets defense, which put up three tough stands to hold off the Chiefs. Congratulations to the Jets! Let’s wish them well as they wrap up the regular season and head into the playoffs!
Congratulations to the Jets on their outstanding victory over the Vikings on Saturday. Five different carriers combined for 219 rushing yards and five touchdowns. The QB’s passed were 3 for 6 for 15 yards. The defense was outstanding yet again, holding the Vikings to just 53 total yards and no touchdowns. The Jets had a sack, an interception and a fumble recovery and had excellent tackling. Great job Jets!!!
Congratulations to the 3rd & 4th Grade Jets for their impressive 53-0 victory over the Buccaneers. The Jets scored seven touchdowns and totaled 283 yards on 26 carries. The offense also completed 2 of 4 passes for 12 yards. The defense dominated, holding the Bucs to -19 yards and recovering 4 fumbles. 16 different players recorded tackles. The special teams kicked their first extra point of the season and returned a punt 38 yards for a touchdown. They also blocked a punt. The "B" team got some playing time in the second half and scored 3 touchdowns. Great job JETS!!!
The 3rd and 4th grade Jets had another outstanding game Saturday, beating the Longhorns 44-0. The offense was a living highlight reel: four different ball carriers racked up 160 yards on 21 rushes while the quarterbacks were 6 for 16 for 74 yards and 2 touchdowns. The defense came through once again with a dominating performance. The Jets held the Longhorns to -17 yards and allowed no first downs. The Jets’ D had two sacks and forced 3 fumbles and an interception. Eleven different players contributed to 31 total tackles. The special teams also did their part, blocking two punts. Way to go Jets!!!
